A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of being a guest on the "Superhero By Design" podcast with Ace Hagerty.
Ace's podcast features stories of those who transform their lives and change the world. The show's mission is to inspire you to take on a transformational journey and become the superhero you were designed to be.
Join the conversation as I answer Ace's questions about my nomadic life and the fear that comes with living outside the box.
Ace's last question caught me by surprise, so here is my answer after taking a slower pass at it.
Who is your real-life superhero?
Without a doubt, my biggest superhero is my dear friend Eva Marie. I should explain to Ace why, so here it is now: Eight years ago, Eva Marie experienced the worst possible event in one person's life—the loss of her younger son Nicholas at the age of 17.
Those who know Eva Marie and Norman (her husband) and have witnessed firsthand how they grieve gracefully, can understand why Eva Marie is my superhero. Her devoted faith is an inspiration and a strength for me.
I mention Golda Meir, Jane Goodall, and Cheryl Strayed. Let me add Brené Brown, Pema Chödrön, and Oprah Winfrey to this list.
In the past year, I have had the privilege of being a guest on several podcasts, sharing my experiences and the wisdom I gained from loving the open road and embracing a nomadic lifestyle.
